Many groups publish Android SDKs, as Android is the most popular operating system in use today.

However, creating a usable SDK is more complicated:

• Will your SDK work on a wide enough range of Android devices, in terms of OS versions and form factors?

• Do you have enough documentation, sample apps, and other ways of telling developers how to use your SDK?

• How scary is your software license, terms of service, or other similar documents?

• How are you planning on supporting developers, in terms of “Q & A”, issue reports, and the like?

• How do you plan to communicate with developers for things like version upgrades?
