The only new brand-new artifacts this week are androidx.pdf:pdf-core and androidx.pdf:pdf-ocr-play-services. The latter is described as “ML Kit implementation of OCR for PDF viewer”. pdf-core is “Provides the core abstractions and foundational logic for AndroidX PDF”, suggesting that a wee bit of refactoring is going on.
