Android Programming Tutorials Version 3.5 Released

Subscribers now have access to the latest release of Android Programming Tutorials, known as Version 3.5.

This update adds four tutorials:

  • One is the old WebKit example from a previous edition of the book

  • One is the old Test Monkey example, also from a previous edition of the book

  • One is a new sample for playing back ringtones, both with a Notification and via MediaPlayer

  • One is the old call-a-phone-number tutorial from a previous edition of the book

In addition, there were minor enhancements and errata fixes in various spots. Notably, starting with Tutorial #12, the ListActivity now uses the empty view to help clue the users in when they have no restaurants.
