Google I|O 2010 Android Videos Posted
The videos from some of the Android sessions at Google I|O 2010 are now posted.
I say “some of the Android sessions”, because some stuff is not yet there. The Bootcamp sessions from the day before the main conference may not have been recorded, as there is no indication of them in the list. Also, the two Android-related “Fireside Chats” are slated to go up on Friday. And not all of the PDFs are there, as I encountered a broken link or two.
Of the ones I attended in person, I definitely recommend:
- The world of ListView
- Casting a wide net: how to target all Android devices
- Building push applications for Android
- Writing zippy Android apps (though Brad Fitzpatrick has a very fast delivery, so I hope it makes it through OK on video)
Here’s the ones I’m looking forward to watching, besides the device manufacturer Fireside Chat:
- Android UI design patterns (only caught the first ~10 minutes)
- Developing Android REST client applications
Also, don’t forget that last year’s videos are still around. In particular, if you have not seen Jeff Sharkey’s Coding for life…battery life, that is, it is very good.
