FroYo, Public Preview vs. General Release
According to AndroidGuys, Adobe has said that they will be:
delivering Flash Player 10.1 for Android smartphones as a public preview at Google I/O in May, and then a general release in June
I am sincerely hoping that, in this context, “public preview” of the next Android release means “SDK available to developers”, and “general release” means “handsets, they be a-shippin’”.
If, OTOH, “public preview” means “oh, looky at the demos on the big screens in Moscone”, and the SDK won’t ship before devices, there’s gonna be a fair amount of gnashing of teeth. Again.
