Hello there, any thoughts on Android Q removing the features of observing the clipboard on background?

I am not terribly surprised that they made a change, though it is the sort of thing that they might have been able to handle with a permission

I just happened to come here when I was told that my subscription is to expire.

yes, this was rescheduled from Tuesday -- I do not normally hold one on Friday nights

(Friday nights where I am, anyway)

I tried to keep an eye on that. But so far they did not promise that a permission style will be added.

I cannot think of any case where something had been available, was banned, and then later became available again with a permission

I am concerned about this brutal removal as I will break my app AnyCopy.

yeah, that's why IMHO this should have been handled with a permission -- there are valid uses

but, they didn't ask for my opinion :-)

Another quick feedback for the subscription email is that the link is not working.
