I'm having trouble with EditText within a fragment. I am able to tap the box and edit via a soft keyboard, but I cannot enter text via my slideout keyboard.

Yes. Quick research on the boards show some issues with softkeyboards automatically displaying but no answers to the posts. It just came up, and I wanted to catch you before you went offline, so I didn't have time to do too much research upfront.

I have no idea how you could have disabled the physical keyboard

Another part of my app uses and Activity to log-in, and there are no problems with that.

Version 2.3.3, one of the posts re. soft keyboards and frags said the problem only existed on V2, I'm looking for it now.
